ATT LANDS £2.3 MILLION CONTRACT

05 Jan

ATT has won a government Skills Funding Agency (SFA) contract to deliver Apprenticeships across the East of England.

ATT will seek apprenticeship opportunities for young people aged 19 to 24 years who are not in employment, education or training (NEET).  ATT offers employers a free of charge recruitment service and we provide initial screening, skills assessment and pre-employment training.  Our training and assessment is delivered in the work place which provides less disruption to the employer.

The SFA funding aligns with the Government strategy to get young people into work.  ATT will be working closely with the New Anglia LEP, JobCentre Plus, Economic Development teams in local authorities and other partners to ensure we make the funding available to as many employers as possible.  We will ensure the East of England economy benefits fully from this funding and to enable as many employers possible to consider offering an Apprenticeship place.

ATT will be creating an additional 30 jobs throughout the first quarter of 2012 to assist with delivery of the contract.

Maria Collins, Managing Director for ATT said:

“I am thrilled we have been awarded this contract, this is down to the hard work and determination from the talented team at ATT.  We have an excellent track record delivering our services which has resulted in recognition from the Skills Funding Agency awarding this contract.  We are very much looking forward to engaging with employers in the East of England to add value to their businesses in what is a difficult economic period.”
