Ofsted Report

ATT received a GOOD grade across all the areas of inspection including effectiveness of leadership and management, quality of teaching, learning and assessment, personal development, behaviour and welfare, and outcomes for learners. 

Ofsted found that “Leaders, managers and learning coaches work highly effectively with employers to provide good quality learning.” They also identified that ATT used their close links with employers very successfully to ensure that the curriculum met local skills needs and that apprentices had a good understanding of the career paths open to them locally and nationally.

The report also highlighted that ATT leadership also focused effectively on improving the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and made good use of apprentices’ feedback.

Ofsted also emphasised the effectiveness of training, planning and range of teaching approaches used to include interactive resources and the use of in-class discussions and hypothetical questions to stimulate apprentice learning.

Employers were fully engaged in their apprentices learning and development and this was helped by the close relationship ATT and their learning coaches had with the employer, as a result the curriculum closely matched employer needs.

ATT are always looking to improve the quality of their service to learners and this has been shown by the improvement seen by Ofsted. Our hard work and dedication has been recognised by the achievement of our Ofsted grade, which shows that we put our learners and employers at the heart of all our training. We are continuing to develop and improve our offer and are working hard towards achieving an outstanding in our next inspection.”
